TBC is creating an all-church, non-audition, multi-generational orchestra, and we'd love for YOU to be a part of it. First rehearsal is February 9th, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Leading worship on Februrary 10th. Contact Bryan at 234-5545 or email him with your name and instrument.

2008 Change: Two NEW Orchestras
Our existing orchestra instrumentalists at TBC have been hearing about this for months, but many other might now have heard yet. Beginning in 2008, the existing orchestra will turn into TWO orchestras. Two? That's right. Two orchestras. One will be a non-auditioned "All-Church Orchestra" that will play every 2 months on a weekend without the Mass Vocal Group. This All-Church Orchestra will be a multi-generational of all playing levels. The other orchestra will be a very streamlined "Studio Orchestra" that will play with the Mass Vocal Group on weekends. It's important to note that Studio Orchestra members are required to be in the All-Church Orchestra. In other words, the Studio Orchestra is a very small branch of the All-Church Orchestra. I'm excited about this change because of opportunity to connect with a wider range of musicians. As you see new musicians, welcome them to the TBC worship family.
Attention All Singers: Next Rehearsal
The next mass vocal group rehearsal will be Thursday, January 24 from 6:45pm to 8:00pm in preparation to lead worship on January 27.
Attention All Orchestra Musicians
Our first All-Church Orchestra rehearsal will be Saturday, February 9 from 9:30am to 11am in preparation to lead worship on February 10.

Matt Ottman (light show electrical engineer) - the Ottman's daughter, NAME, is having some advanced testing in a month, colonoscopy and stomach scope, pray for conclusive results and accurate diagnosis
Josh Harris (vocalist) - praise, engaged to Sarah McKinnie, wedding date set for August 2, 2008
Kevin Givens (tech) - pray for a successful back surgery on Friday morning
Steve Larson (drama) - If all goes well, Steve's dad is going to be released from the Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital on Friday about 1 pm, pray that he'll do what the doctors tell him once he's home and that the dialysis treatments will continue to go well, pray for Steve's mom that she won't be exhausted from taking him back and forth to the dialysis center three times a week
Josh Benteman (drums) -praise and prayer, Josh and his wife Eryka are expecting in August, pray for a smooth road ahead in the coming months for them
