This Sunday: Kids preimere "Life School Musical" at TBC
If you don't have plans for this Sunday at 6pm, you'd really this musical. Normally, I do not enjoy kids musicals unless they are well done. This one is very well done. The kids have worked hard. Two Important Surveys Coming
There are two very important surveys that will be emailed to the entire worship arts ministry at TBC this week. One is a poll for "U-Pick-The-Music" Sunday coming up. That's right, YOU pick the music. The second survey will give me some feedback. I've been at TBC a year, but that doesn't mean I could use some helpful feedback from all of you! Watch your inbox later this week. I'd really appreciate each of you filling out these very brief surveys.

No Lyric Tech Rehearsal This Week
There will be no lyric tech rehearsal this week due to kids musical rehearsal on Thursday. We'll run with our Sunday run-thru time at 7:15am.

Props to Singers Last Sunday
Major thanks to the singers this past weekend that launched into 2nd hour worship without the video monitor screens for lyrics. Wow - that was scary for you, and me. Thanks to Nat for troubleshooting it quickly and getting it back and functional for the 3rd hour. Gotta love/hate technology!

Why Is the MVG Not Sining In May?
Someone had asked me on Sunday, "Why isn't the mass vocal group singing again in May?" When I started at TBC a year ago, I made a consious effort to not make many schedule changes for the large groups. I attempted to follow the same choir schedule. In the past, TBC would sing about 1 month past Easter (which fell in April this past year). However, this year is was stinking early (March 23). So I simply followed suit and had the MVG sing one more month past Easter. That's the reason. If I could have my cake and eat it too, I'd have all the singers since right through the summer!

Seeking Musicians: A Message from Joan Crouse (duplication ministry)
At Lexington Park Independent Living Center, we've had one person retire from playing on the 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month at the weekly Sunday church service there at 2 PM.  And of those who were "on call"  people who filled in when needed if they were available- one has moved and one is ill. We also badly need song leaders.  We have no regular song leaders and they add a whole lot to a church service. In last week's WM, I mispelled a word. Instead of "bare with us" it should have obviously been "bear with us." I feel like apologizing - but it would be emBAREssing.

Patty Diliberto (Women's Ministry Director, vocalist) - Patty's mom had a heart attack this past weekend, thank God for the quick response of her dad and EMTs, three hours later they had a stint in, probably no heart damage, she came out of ICU last night, pray for a full and smooth recovery 

Nat Diliberto (Pastor of Facilities and Technical Arts) - tore his calf muscle when he made a quick turn on the steps up to the tech area at church this past Sunday, he will be on crutches, has to ice and elevate his leg, pray for a full and quick recovery without surgery (no bleeding) 

Heidi Nelson (violin) - in Portugal for a missions trip April 17-25, she is there with her work since my boss is the director of International Missions, she is doing activities with women who are there with their husbands on a music tour 

Barb Blue (clarinet) - mother had another stroke this weekend and was in the ER, pray for healing 

Matt & Stephanie Teagarden (tech, vocalist) - Matt Teagarden's mom, Loretta, had another serious aneurism along the left major artery in her brain. She is only 63 yrs. old, & has had a lot of health issues for the past 15 months. The surgical options for her are very risky and experimental.  She has been told she has around 6 mos. to decide if she wants to try one of 2 possible surgeries or just ride it out.  Pray that should she opt out of surgery that God will work a miracle and keep her aneurism from growing for many years.
Pray for wisdom in that decision process, as well as salvation, comfort, & peace for her & all family members. 

Matt Ottman (light show engineer) - continue to pray for the Ottman family as Matt's wife, Rachel, continues to home school their children while having MS, the MS walk is coming up for them on April 26 (Bryan & Lisa Nelson plan to walk as well)

Steve Larson (drama) - Steve's dad is back in Stormont Vail again, he's rotated between the hospital, Kansas Rehab Hospital and home continually since the beginning of December with pancreitis and other health problems that keep him from eating, he has lost a lot of weight and has dialysis three times a week, pray that God will grant him some health and the ability to eat solid food and keep it down so he can get his strength back, also pray that God will keep his mind clear so we can talk with him
