Ask Anything, Really
Sometimes opening up the door and inviting people to ask you anything is a little bit like putting a "kick me" sign on your back. But you guys have some good questions. Read more...
Last Chance to Vote!
For one week, I'm giving up my role and letting the worship arts family select the music! That's right. If you are in the worship arts family (singer, instrumentalist, tech), then YOUR SONG VOTE COUNTS. Vote online for your favorite music to be featured on Sunday, June 1, 2008. This week is the FINAL week to vote. All I can tell you is that there are 4 songs that are currently at the top. If you want your favorite to be on the list, VOTE TODAY. If you receive this email through snail mail and would like to vote, simply call Bryan at 785-234-5545.
If You Haven't Already
Thank you to the 50 people who have already filled out the online survey/feedback form. After being at TBC for one year, I'd love to hear your thoughts once again and allow you a chance to ask any tough or easy questions you might have. This is the final week before I tally the online feedback forms, so fill yours out if you haven't already.
Are You a BTS Person?
Do you care if you serve on stage or off? If not, read on. Are you a behind-the-scenes (BTS) person who doesn't care if you receive rewards? If so, read on. The stage crew will be losing two dedicated volunteers who have served for years. Warren and Teagen Seitz will be moving out of state in the coming months. They will leave a gap. So we are looking for some BTS people to help out in their place. Stage setup/strikes occur at various times (after/before auditorium events). Some lifting is required (but not super heavy). And the team is great to work with. Email me if you want more information.

PRAYER & PRAISES
email a prayer or praise
Roy Tanner (violin) - his son, Jacob, was diagnosed today with having the Hand/Foot/Mouth disease, it is untreatable, all they can do is give him Tylenol and put aloe vera on his rashes, he is very uncomfortable, please pray for quick healing for Jacob
Elizabeth Heyroth (vocalist) - Elizabeth was asked to be the speaker for the Shawnee Heights baccalaureate on May 17th, she is nervous about this opportunity but also SO grateful because she knows this is a huge chance to share the gospel with so many people, please pray that God will calm her nerves, give her the words to say, and be glorified through this experience
John Crouse (A/V duplication ministry) - John is going to a neurosurgeon (new to Topeka in the last 2 years) in a couple of weeks, to see if they can offer him something that will give him relief from the constant back pain he has. He has had 2 hard falls since his back surgery in 2006 and can hardly walk around in a grocery store. Please pray that they will be able to do something to give him relief from the pain, and increase his ability to walk.
Nat Diliberto (Pastor of Facilities and Technical Arts) - tore his calf muscle, praise that he can put pressure on his foot, continue to pray for complete healing
Steve Larson (drama) - Steve's dad pased away last week after a battle with pancreatitis and other health problems, pray for Steve and his family
