It's a Surprise This Week
There's something up my sleeve. I really want to tell you, but it will be better as a surprise. Come Sunday to find out what it will be. If you are going to miss this Sunday, you'll regret it. If it is received well, maybe we'll make it a tradition in June.

Orchestra Feedback
What a great weekend worship with the orchestra! I'll admit that I was a little aprehensive going into "we worship" weekend at TBC with just instruments and no vocals. But I heard lots of comments on how the orchestra sounded this past week, as well as the lyric changes. A big thank you to each of the musicians who made this last week a great time of different worship. Here is some written feedback from this past Sunday..."we want you to know how impressive the orchestra was this morning [my husband's words].  It was awesome."

Nat Leads Worship June 22
Because I will be out of town visiting family in WI, Nat Diliberto will lead worship on Sunday, June 22. What a privilege it is to have someone with Nat's heart for worship available to lead TBC while our family is away. Nat has already selected the music and musicians are lined up ready to go. It will be a breath of fresh air to have Nat lead again. I really appreciate his availability because it allows me not to worry while I'm with my family! Thank you, Nat.

Bluegrass Worship @ TBC
Coming to TBC on Sunday, June 29th - a full morning of worship with bluegrass style worship. Who says there won't be banjos in heaven?!

Barb Blue (clarinet) - Bard woke up 3:30 AM Sunday, June 8th burning up and feeling bad with pressure in both ears.  After going to Med Assist yesterday, she found out her left ear drum had burst and she had inner ear infections in both ears and therefore no balance).  She’s feeling better as of Monday after sleeping most of Sunday and getting antibiotics. Pray for continued recovery for Barb.

Angie Shelton (trumpet) - Angie will be leaving on Tuesday, June 17th for a trip to China teaching English for six weeks to adults in Beijing.  She is going with an organization called TeachOverseas.org.  She will return August, 5th. Pray for safety and a productive time while she is there.

Joyce Harris (violin, cello, vocalist, kids choir director, she does it all) - Joyce's daughter, Sarah, leaves for Kenya on June 13.  Pray for safety in travel and for the team as they conduct Bible School for children.

Nathan Hopeck (electric guitar) - praise to God for the arrival of Cooper Patrick Hopeck, born Friday, May 30, 2008, 8 pounds and 13 ounces, 21 1/2 inches, pray for a smooth transition for Nathan and Randee

Matt & Stephanie Teagarden (tech, vocalist) - Matt's mom, Loretta, will have a somewhat new, experimental procedure for an aneurism on June 17. She will be having open brain surgery twice within 1 week in Chicago.  Matt & Stephanie will be flying there for both surgeries. 

Dustin & Laura Fluke (trumpet), Josh & Eryka Benteman (drums)- Babies on the way, pray for continued health and smooth deliveries
