But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint
Isaiah 40:31

why are the lyrics lower case?

Thank You, Nat
I am so thankful that I could leave to be with family, and have someone who knows the TBC "DNA" able to lead worship while I was away. A big thanks to Nat for leading this past week. Also, a big thank you to Joe Hopeck for leading the singing at the baptism event on Sunday evening - which I heard had a huge turn out!

Bluegrass Worship This Week
Who says there won't be banjos in heaven?! It's the week you've all been waiting for (either to come or miss this weekend). We have a couple of fun surprises for this week that you won't want to miss. Praise God for different music styles to keep things interesting.

Photography Exhibit This Thursday
You've already seen some of her work on the TBC website from Easter. Elena Wenger will exhibit some of her photographs this Thursday, June 26, at a Open House from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at 3018 SW Mulvane Street (west of 30th Street & Burlingame Road). Elena, an Art History major at Washburn, has been a photographer at various events, and has also taken pictures for the TBC website. Her pictures include scenes from Chicago, California, and the Midwest. Prints are matted, and are ready to sell. This event is hosted by Tricia Lagae, who will serve homemade, gourmet hors d' oeuvres. If you have any questions, you may email Elena.

Back In the Office
After spending this past week visiting family, I'm back in the office. Sure there's some digging out to do, but it sure is nice to be home. We spent the last week visiting family in WI, IN, MO, and went to a concert in MI for a music group that Lisa does some writing/arranging for.
